GLOBAL WIND DAYS
Global Wind Day is a coordinated action between the European Wind Energy Association, the Global Wind Energy Council and the national associations to introduce the general public to wind energy through a series of activities. In the run-up to 15 June, hundreds of public events will be held all over the world from family outings and wind farm visits to seminars with experts and leading industry figures. In Italy the event is held by Anev who organize every year several meetings and workshops.
KEY WIND (Convegno “L’eolico)
Key Wind is the most important Italian event for companies in the wind energy sector, organized in collaboration with ANEV.
Rimini´s famous exhibition centre will be hosting leading operators and manufacturers of small, medium and large, on-shore and off-shore wind turbines.
Numerous conferences, institutional meetings, training and information sessions on the theme of wind energy will take place during the 4 days of the exhibition.
The objective to conciliate the development of the production of clean energy with the necessary protection, valorisation and safeguard of the territory, has brought ANEV to undertake a close collaboration with the main environmental associations through the subscription of a Protocol with LEGAMBIENTE and Greenpeace finalising the corrected installation and integration of the wind power plants in the landscape.
OSSERVATORIO EOLICO AVIFAUNA
ANEV in collaboration with Legambiente and ISPRA (Istitute for Environmental Protection and Research) established a National Obsevatory on wildlife monitoring on Wind farms aimed at expand the scientific knowledge on the relationship between wind energy production and birds and mammals populations, in order to reinforce environmental protection and at the same time promote development of Wind farms accountable for biodiversity conservation.
